The BRCU course is approximately 15 hours of classroom and on-cycle instruction conducted over a two-day session. Prior to the first day of class, an online e-course must be completed and a certificate of completion must be presented at the start of the first day.
The Classroom time consists of approximately 5 hours of Rider Coach-led discussions and student interactive activities. The On-cycle exercises will provide basic techniques and street strategies including straight-line riding, defensive maneuvering, turning, shifting, and braking to help you in everyday situations. Attendance for all sessions is mandatory and successful completion of both the written exam and on-cycle evaluation is required to receive your MSB-8 completion card.
Active/Reserve Military status, Veterans, and First Responders (Law Enforcement, Communications Operators, Fire Department, Medical Doctors, Nurses, EMT's and Paramedics.
